The Handwoven Metals Collection is unique and innovative. Production involves a complicated process of heating metal wire and then exruding it into long thin ribbons. These ribbons of Copper, Brass or Bauxite (aluminum) are hand woven to form mats of various lengths. The mats can be cut to size and used to wrap or cover objects such as cabinets, table tops or plywood panels. They can be easily used as a laminate and custom sizes are readily available.
Silk Dynasty's Handwoven Metals Collection has been included in the Stellcase Exhibition and in the book
MONDO MATERIALS.
