Greenwich
The village of Greenwich, England, was host to the Royal Workshops established in 1514 by Henry 8th had armors fashioned for himself and his court. Our Greenwich design is inspired by one of the countless patterns used to make armor.
Tao
Tao pattern consists of four Chinese Poems from the Ming Dynasty.
1. Beautiful clouds make magic patterns. The two stars, the Cow Herder and the Weaver Maid, had ever shown there Agony at there long separation. Now they crossed the wide Milky Way to meet in the dark night; such a meeting in the autumnal weather is far better than any other on earth.
2. The tender feelings of a lover, are as gentle as water. Their happy rendezvous dreamy and fleeting. Who could have the heart to look backward at the way from whence they came on the bridge built by magpies? But an everlasting love would not care getting together day and night.
3. The immortal with short hair and long ears rode a white deer and guided me up Mt. Hua. He picked mythic plants of life and got rare ones. He came to a house and presented the host a jade case of drugs. Having taken the medicine the host was getting healthier and stronger with his hair turning black again. Hereafter he lived a long life.
4. Ormosia hosiei grows in the southern part of the country. And sprouts several new branches in spring. Please gather as many love peas as you like, for they symbolize your yearning most.
Van Royn
Van Royn is named after the famous Dutch armor fabricator during the Renaissance. His armor was fashioned for King Henry the 8th, in the village of Greenwich.
